The house edge is a common mathematical advantage that our games have in order to remain profitable in the long run.

Wheel of Fortune

Every color has an individual house edge.
The weighted average house edge for the Wheel of Fortune is ~5.01%.

  • Gray has 26 out of the 54 spots available on the Wheel. Probability is ~48.15%. House edge is ~3.7%.

  • Red has 17 out of the 54 spots available on the Wheel. Probability is ~31.48%. House edge is ~5.5%

  • Blue has 10 out of the 54 spots available on the Wheel. Probability is ~18.51%. House edge is ~7.4%

  • Gold has 1 out of the 54 spots available on the Wheel. Probability is ~1.85%. House edge is ~7.4%

Roulette

Every color has an individual house edge.
โ€‹The weighted average house edge for Roulette is ~6.66%.

  • Black has 7 out of the 15 spots available on the reel. Probability is ~46.66%. House edge is ~6.66%

  • Red has 7 out of the 15 spots available on the reel. Probability is ~46.66%. House edge is ~6.66%

  • Green has 1 out of the 15 spots available on the reel. Probability is ~6.66%. House edge is ~6.66%

Duels

Duels don't have a "house edge". Instead, 500 Casino takes a fixed 5% rake for every played duel.

Crash

Crash doesn't technically have a "house edge". We pre-generated 10 million Crash rounds and we used a coefficient to statistically determine that 6% of the rounds instantly crash at 1x.

Plinko

Every board was manually adjusted so that the house edge over 10 million simulated rounds is roughly equal to 4%, respectively 8% for the extreme mode.

Dice

The Dice house edge is just 1%, making it the highest RTP of all the Classic games we're offering.

Towers

The house edge on Towers functions similar to as of Duels' and is set at 5%.

Sportsbook

For Sportsbook, our provider is using a dynamic house edge. For our fixed calculations, we are reporting a house edge of 3%.

Cases and Case Battles

For Cases and Case Battles, we are using a standard formula that combines all the item chances and items values in a case, then adds a house edge of 10% on top to determine the final price of a case.

Casino

Casino games rely on a coefficient called "RTP" (Return to Player) which is the statistical average of payouts over billions of rounds. Every game has a different RTP. They can vary from 92% to 99.65%, depending on provider and other factors. We are displaying the game's RTP in the bottom right corner of the screen if it's available when you play.

Other important things to consider:

With the calculations above, the average house edge of 500 Casino is around 5%.

It's not a big number, but it's not extremely small either.
Having a house edge allows us to remain profitable, provide great service to our users and it also allows us to offer certain benefits to players.

  • ~30% of the house edge is returned in affiliate revenue

  • 5-20% of the house edge is returned in rakebacks

  • Welcome package bonuses and free spins

  • VIP-related bonuses

  • Jackpots

  • Vouchers and giveaways

  • Lossbacks and other bonuses

  • Special events, raffles, scavenger hunts

  • ... and many more

By removing all of these benefits from the equation, it becomes obvious that the house edge of our games is actually much smaller.
